Eagle Project

Spencer had his Eagle Project. He chose to plant trees for the Wild Life Refuge.

 First we all gathered to hear how to do it.

 Then we cut tree limbs and cut off all the little branches on them.

 We then took them to the trailer.

 Mandy's new friend is Johnny.

 We went out to the place where the trees would be planted and put them in the canal to soak for a week.

 The guy who works at the Wild Life Refuge thingy.

 A week later.....

 They drilled the holes to plant the trees in.

All the boys came back out and pulled the trees out of the canal and loaded them back into the trailer.

Then they planted them.

 They had to fill the holes with dirt and tamp it with their shovels.

 All the trees in the trailer ready to be planted.

All done! They planted about 100 trees.

Spencer's little accident

About three weeks ago we were cleaning out some sheds. Spencer was pushing on a old fridge but he let go of it and it wedged his elbow and hand between the fridge and and some glass. It cut him pretty bad. He almost passed out. My mom and Dad took him into the doctor and they stitched him up. He had 5 internal stitches for 10 days.

Hey at least he was working:)
