Chocolate malt cookies
1 c. butter
1-1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. malted milk powder
3 T. chocolate syrup
1 T. vanilla extract
1 egg
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. chocolate chips
mix first six; add egg. add remaining ingredients. shape in to 2 inch balls place 3 inches apart on an ungreased baking sheet. bake at 375 for 10-12 min. or until just starting to turn golden around the edges. cool for 2 min. before removing to a wire rack. yield: 1- 1/2 dozen.
